When we did this couple’s design consultation, I could see from the decor in their house that they loved nautical themed style. I even spotted a cute little blue boat they had as decor in their kitchen. I knew right then and there that I wanted to do a sweet nautical set-up for their baby. I ordered a brand new backdrop and floordrop combo to create the beachy feel, then I used their boat and seagull to add to it, and topped it off with a few of my beachy props (netting, starfish, rope, nautical hats, etc). Putting it all together definitely created the look I was going for. It was a darling nautical set-up that perfectly matched their home decor. I love incorporating client’s props into the session because now, as baby James grows older, they will always have that boat to see the size comparison of how big he is getting.
