I was so excited when my client contacted me saying she wanted to do a unicorn themed cake smash for her baby girl’s first birthday session. I had purchased a ton of unicorn stuff previously, and was just waiting for someone to pick that theme! The set-up was just darling. Her daughter was a bit unsure at first, but soon decided she liked the cake. She made a grand ol mess, which made for very colorful pictures. She even knocked the cake off the stand so it landed, plop, right on it’s top. After I scooped it back up and put it down again, it totally reminded me of the pies from Hook!
